Meet one of our superstar QA Managers, Laurie Scott! After working in the food industry for 15 years, Laurie's vast experience and degree in Food Science and Technology led her to Echo Falls in 2024. Laurie works as a QA Manager at our Renton, WA smokehouse, the homebase for our Hot Smoked salmon ops. Her favorite Echo Falls item is our brand new Smoked Atlantic Salmon Bites! But beyond the delicious, high-quality products she oversees, her favorite part about working at Echo Falls is the people. "My co-workers are respectful, hardworking, and work as a team. I find that very fulfilling," says Laurie. "The company values food safety and product quality." Laurie credits her Manager, Director of QA Max Kenagy, as another highlight of working at Echo Falls: "he's a rare combination of someone who has a very strong technical background along with empathy. He gives me autonomy to do my job and provides support and guidance as needed."
