Echo Falls Plans Full-Scale Debut at 2025 Seafood Expo North America

Monroe, WA - February 11, 2025 Just months after re-establishing the business with a new name in September 2024, Echo Falls Seafoods will host a full-scale exhibit at Seafood Expo North America in Boston, March 16-18. The company plans to showcase several new products that are now in distribution and ready to order, and a variety of innovative packaging upgrades. They will also be offering buyers a sneak preview of several new products in development.

Headlining the new products is Echo Falls new Oak Smoked Yellowfin Tuna. The new product starts with certified sustainable, wild-caught, non-treated yellowfin tuna. The fish is cured with salt and beetroot, then rimmed with black and white sesame seeds before smoking over oak. The company will also highlight new packaging for its popular hot-smoked Atlantic salmon line, which is now available nationwide. The design was developed in response to the growing interest in smoked salmon among younger consumers. It features new, youthful colors to complement the three distinct and on-trend flavors. Additionally, the new design allows consumers to see the entire salmon portion, rather than being limited to a small window.

The company also has several new and original products in development that they will share with customers in person at the show, complete with packaging visuals and product tastings in their booth space. Echo Falls will feature one of these new “sneak preview” products, including a new wasabi-flavored salmon caviar, at the show’s Seafood Tasting event in the Wave Maker’s Zone at 12:30 pm on Monday March 17.

Echo Falls Seafoods is committed to producing authentic and artisanal specialty seafood products that are accessible to consumers. “Knowing that younger consumers have an interest in dining in and learning how to host parties at home, Echo Falls is leaning into this trend by providing items and recipes that can be easily served a variety of ways, and always with style,” said Alex Klein, President of Echo Falls Seafoods. In addition to their traditional party appetizer items, Echo Falls is also finding ways to take their high-protein products to the snacking category, with new grab-and-go salmon snacks.

“Echo Falls products and packaging strive to educate the consumer about how the product is made, where it is from, and how to serve it,” Klein added. “This is refreshing at a time when competitors continue to commoditize this segment with generic descriptions that don’t address some of the basic information that consumers should be aware of when purchasing specialty seafood.”

Seafood buyers can expect to see a diverse variety of Echo Falls products that consumers want to see on their dinner party tables in Boston. This approach is clearly working as Echo Falls is the #1 smoked seafood brand at grocery retail in the US, with 5 consecutive years of significant brand growth.

The Echo Falls Seafoods’ sales and executive team can be found at Seafood Expo North America in booth #1205 where they will be exhibiting next door to their sister company, Alaska seafood processor OBI Seafoods.
